My topic for my research paper will be Mexican Immigration. Instead of the boring repetitive research papers with tons of overloaded information, my paper will be more personal. Time and time again, researchers often look at the effects Mexican immigration has on Americans, which is important, but my paper will focus on how it effects the actual immigrants and their families. I want to mention how the statement in the constitution "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," should be applied to the new Mexican immigrants as well. Putting aside the fact if they are legal or illegal immigrants, my paper will tie to emotion. Some of the questions I will base my paper off of are the following:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
When picking a topic their are tons of things that I enjoy doing or would like to inform people about, but Mexican immigration hits home for me. I guess I feel obligated to inform, defend, and argue this topic because without my grandparents migrating to America in the mid 1900s, I wouldn't even be typing this blog right now. A lot of who I am, what I do, and the opportunities I have today are because of the courage my family has. I truly believe that every single person on the earth deserves a chance. Many people believe that America is that chance. Many people also believe that the American Dream is dead, but maybe it is just being tested. The dream is not dead, the peoples ambition and drive to make things worth while is what is dead.
I am researching...
because I want to find out...
in order to help readers understand...
Definitely an important topic. I don't think your research questions went through.
